Coronavirus challenge? Woman’s attempt to catch virus goes viral

Social media challenges are the dominion of the Tik Tok generation, but this one probably won’t gain any traction. Ava Louise, a 22-year old Tik Tok personality and self-proclaimed “clout chaser,” attempted to kick off a new “coronavirus challenge” from an airplane bathroom when she recorded herself licking a public toilet seat and posted it on social media. The clip went viral, but not in the way she might have expected. Rather than attract legions of copycats, Tik Tok users young and old condemned the challenge and called it “disgusting” and “dangerous.” Even Meghan McCain of “The View” chimed in, demanding on Twitter that Louise be “thrown in jail” for the stunt. It wouldn’t be the first time that happened. Just a month ago, a man was arrested for scaring other plane passengers by claiming he was infected with coronavirus. Maybe we should just stay off planes for the time being.

How about a viral challenge that’s actually good, for once?
