Hey Ozy Family, I hope each of you is having a great weekend. Here at The Carlos Watson Show, we’ve been enlightened by the insightful and inspiring messages of our remarkable guests, and we think you will be, too. We caught up with like legendary dancer , Cheryl Burke, Entourage creator Doug Ellin, and a few others. Each of these guests have expanded my world in new ways with their stories of growth, perseverance, and action – read on for a little glimpse into what we talked about and who we have on queue for next week. Last week also gave us the opportunity to catch up with Randy Savvy , an inspiring leader and musician advocating for change to community, culture and business in Compton, California. Randy’s unique experience as a black cowboy has provided an important perspective on the diverse history of equestrian culture in the United States. Then we met the couple behind Aunts et Uncles, a Brooklyn restaurant offering plant-based Caribbean fare. They spoke about their relationship, culinary past, and what inspired them to make the shift to plant-based cooking in their current venture. We closed out the week with a visit from actress Paige Audrey-Marie Hurd, actress on shows like Everybody Hates Chris and Power. She shares her experience struggling with anxiety, her family dynamics, and her relationship with her godfather, DMX. Watch the full interviews for a dose of inspiration and awe. Coming up next week, we’ve got another collection of exciting guests that I’m thrilled for you to check out. I let you know last week about Silvia Vasquez-Lavado and Gary Chambers, but we also have the co-stars of HGTV’s newest show Married to Real Estate, Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson; Grammy-nominated musician Taylor Dayne; and Vet TV’s Donny O’Malley and Nick Betts, discussing their mission of healing combat veterans’ mental health through comedy and relatable content. Keep an eye out in the coming days for each of these episodes on The Carlos Watson Show. These guests have been an absolute dream to chat with and learn from. It’s been a great opportunity to continue our theme: Elevate the Conversation. Messages of overcoming adversity, breaking the mold, caring for community, and inspiring change. Maybe you’ll find something that changes your perspective, or helps you take your goals to the next level. Stay tuned for the latest updates; you won’t want to miss them. Stay curious, Carlos
