Two Ascension Parish died after their car went into a pond near Bayou Manchac. David Mitchell takes a look at the effort to save them. There's more talk about using the shuttered Jetson Center for Youth to address problems at the state's juvenile lockups. The site at Baker is now being used as temporary housing for state prison inmates, but a state senator says a discussion last week turned on perhaps putting 30 young offenders there. And after a man released on bail crashed head-on into a sheriff's deputy, questions arose on whether a judge made the right choice when setting terms for the man's release.
