Good morning, Nina Lindholm here with the with the Europe Wire from the London newsroom. Opening new offices across Europe to benefit from local knowledge has been a popular move for private equity firms in the past few years. This morning, we speak to Flor Kassai, a freshly appointed managing partner at Inflexion, who has been instrumental in building the firm’s European presence. Kassai is the latest member of our Dealmakers to Watch series. Switching to take-privates, EQT has made an offer for an industrial components distributor listed in its home country of Sweden. Next, we have an exit, as the Riverside Company has agreed to sell a nutraceuticals business to Miura Partners. We’ll finish with a managing partner promotion by Bowmark Capital. Wild card Flor Kassai’s path to private equity was paved partly by serendipity and partly by design, winding through Buenos Aires, New York and Philadelphia before reaching London. Promoted in October to managing partner alongside Inflexion co-founders John Hartz and Simon Turner, Kassai is the latest member of PE Hub’s Dealmakers to Watch series. I recommend reading the full story as it reveals how Kassai and Inflexion approached the expansion into Europe, as well as Kassai’s outlook for 2025.
