Artesha C. Moore is the new president and CEO of Association Forum, effective Feb. 14. Moore is currently the vice president of affiliation, engagement and membership of the American Geophysical Union and an active member of the American Society of Association Executives. Founded in 1916, Association Forum serves 4,000 association professionals whose efforts support more than 37 million members. LAS VEGAS:The Mob Museum, the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, will celebrate its 10th anniversary with the “Undercover of the Night” gala presented by the Stanley W. Ekstrom Foundation on Feb. 17. The event will pay special tribute to undercover law enforcement agents and feature special meet-and-greet opportunities with real-life undercover agents. There will also be gourmet action stations, specialty cocktails, an auction and live entertainment.
LOS ANGELES: The third edition of the BeachLife Festival in Redondo Beach, Calif., will take place May 13-15 on the waterfront. The event will be headlined by Weezer, The Smashing Pumpkins and Steve Miller Band, with additional performances by the likes of 311, Sheryl Crow, Stone Temple Pilots and more. There will also be culinary experiences from local chefs, plus a speakeasy stage with a pop-up art gallery and acoustic sets from rock and punk musicians.
NEWARK, NJ:Stephen Rosebrook is the new executive vice president and general manager of the Prudential Center, the Newark-based sports and entertainment venue that’s home to the New Jersey Devils, the GRAMMY Museum Experience and more than 175 special events each year. Rosebrook previously spent a decade in leadership positions with AEG Facilities in New York City, where he executed openings and projects for various stadiums, arenas and theaters in the AEG portfolio.
