There's always room for improvement.

"Better is better than perfect." A few months ago, Erin LaCross, DNP, RN, CMSRN, CENP, chief nursing officer at Parkview Regional Medical Center and Affiliates at Parkview Health in Fort Wayne, Indiana, said this to me during an interview. I loved the idea so much it's become a mantra for me.

This week's newsletter gives a nod to the concept of continuous process improvement that LaCross alludes to. You'll find out about an innovative training method to improve CPR quality, ways to make patient handling safer, and where to focus care delivery redesign to achieve the Triple Aim.

As you read on today, remember while things may not be perfect, you're on your way to better!
