A Message From the Editor

Good morning. A&O Shearman has been hit by more departures in Paris, but in Hong Kong, it has hired a partner from Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer -- the first partner to depart the firm in Asia since its transatlantic merger took effect this month. Also, Gail Cohen writes that a Canadian appellate court has given the green light for a class action lawsuit to proceed against U.S. gunmaker Smith & Wesson. And check out the chart showing who makes up Big Law's talent in the U.S., complete with diversity data and other demographic information.
