Trial Lawyer Gavin Long Named Bisnar Chase Partner |
|
Bisnar Chase has added a new partner to its ranks! Successful trial attorney H. Gavin Long, who has been with the firm since 2012, has earned the prestigious partner position after winning millions of dollars for his clients and showing incredible dedication to his craft at Bisnar Chase.
A passionate and committed lawyer who excels in the courtroom, Gavin is an integral part of the Bisnar Chase team. Over the last year alone, he has won multiple seven-figure verdicts, as well as negotiating a series of six-figure settlements.
“I’m proud to be named partner at a law firm that cares so deeply about the people it serves,” he said.
In May 2019, Gavin represented the family of a husband and father who died due to rehab facility negligence. The defense made a final settlement offer of $450,000, but Gavin took the case to trial and secured an $11 million jury verdict for the grieving family. He followed this by winning a $5.3 million jury verdict in a motorcycle accident case in November 2019.
Gavin is also on the Consumer Attorneys of California’s Board of Governors, is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and has been named Orange County Trial Lawyer of the Year.
Managing partner Brian Chase said: “We are ecstatic to welcome Gavin as a partner in this firm. He has been a rock on our trial team, someone I’ve been able to rely on not just to deliver, but to exceed all expectations.” |

B|C Staff are Crafting For a Cause to Support OC Homeless and Veterans with New Charity Project |
|
Bisnar Chase staff have created a new charity called Crafting For a Cause, using their passion for knitting and crocheting to help those in need.
Staff, family, and friends will be creating handmade items such as hats and scarves, with cards attached bearing the name of the creator. These are already being donated to military veterans and the homeless – especially those on our doorstep in Orange County.
Our mission is: “Help those who need it. Do more.” Bisnar Chase already runs several charity initiatives, including the successful Backpacks4Life project, but the firm is always aiming to do more for those who need it most.

Drone Accident Liability: The Future of Personal Injury Law
The laws surrounding drone accident cases are surprisingly murky. This is an emerging technology, but drone use is rising rapidly and the law needs to be ready.
People are already flying drones for fun, racing drones, and hovering drones overhead to take aerial pictures. Major industries are also getting in on the act, using drones to fix power lines, treat agricultural areas, and deliver packages. With usage set to spike in the coming years, drones are about to become big business.
But who is responsible when accidents happen? Victims need to know what to do when a drone crashes, a package drops out of the sky, an injury is sustained, or property is damaged.

Six Million Cars Recalled Over Safety Fears – How to Handle an Auto Defect Claim with B|C
A huge recall for more than six million vehicles has been issued by major car manufacturers Honda and Toyota. The two companies have identified potential faults that could affect the safety of several popular models.

Honda and Toyota were both in the top-5 selling car manufacturers in the United States in 2019. Between them, the two manufacturers have recalled 6.1 million vehicles over these new defect fears. Use Your Car for Business? Avoid Falling into This Insurance Trap Drivers who are injured in car crashes while working could be left counting the costs due to an insurance loophole.
A huge number of people now use their own vehicles for work, such as delivery drivers and app-based taxi services. Some people might deliver food or drive for Uber, while a growing trend is seeing people make part-time deliveries for Amazon alongside their day jobs due to the company’s high demand.
But anyone using their vehicle for business needs to check their insurance policy. Many policies contain clauses that prevent claims If a crash occurs while the vehicle is being used for business.
Bisnar Chase has seen delivery drivers left out of pocket due to this loophole and is urging such drivers to make sure their insurance policy covers business use.
Our firm excels in taking on insurance firms. If you need a helping hand to work on your auto accident case, our skilled and compassionate attorneys might be able to help. |
