Bisnar Chase Attorneys Claim Top Honors for 2020
Two of Bisnar Chase’s top attorneys have been named as Super Lawyers for 2020, while a third has been hailed for his jury trial triumphs over the past year.

B|C partners Brian Chase and Scott Ritsema have both received the Super Lawyers honor, celebrating the outstanding work they have done for their clients and recognizing them as top personal injury attorneys.

The prestigious Super Lawyers list is published every year to identify the best of the best attorneys working in Southern California.

Brian Chase was named as a top attorney in the personal injury products category, while Scott Ritsema earned a place on the personal injury general list. This is the 14th year that Brian has been recognized with the award.

In addition to the Super Lawyers listings, Bisnar Chase’s newest partner – H. Gavin Long – has been celebrated for his jury trial victories over the past year.

Gavin has been named on the Top 100 Verdicts in California 2019 list – TWICE!

He clinched spot #65 by winning a $5.3 million verdict for a motorcyclist who was seriously injured in a collision with a car. He also claimed the #40 position with an $11 million verdict for the family of a man who died due to the extreme negligence of his rehab facility.

California has plenty of competition in the personal injury law landscape, and these awards are a testament to the skills and achievements of the Bisnar Chase team.
Fatal Car Crashes Rise Amid Pandemic Speeding Spike

The Covid-19 pandemic has been playing havoc with California traffic trends. The number of vehicles on the roads has decreased, with many people working from home and abiding by the state's stay-at-home order. In turn, this has resulted in a decrease in the number of car accidents.

However, with clearer roads, there has been a major spike in dangerous speeding. In April, California Highway Patrol officers reported handing out 150 speeding tickets over a four hour period in Orange County.

Officers reported an 87% rise in drivers hitting speeds of 100+ mph. Figures also show that the number of fatal crashes has increased during the pandemic.

Reckless driving will always be a factor on California roads. If you have been involved in a vehicle accident, from a parking lot fender bender to a high-speed highway smash, contact the auto accident attorneys of Bisnar Chase now.
Chipotle Hit By $25m Fine Over Violations Leading to More Than 1,100 Food Poisoning Cases

Mexican food chain Chipotle has been ordered to pay a huge $25 million fine after its food handling failures led to a huge number of food poisoning cases.

A federal court in Los Angeles ruled that Chipotle failed to ensure safe handling of its food by staff. This resulted in more than 1,100 cases of food borne illnesses, with customers hit by bouts of norovirus, E. coli, and salmonella between 2015 and 2018.

Bisnar Chase handles food illness lawsuits and can help victims of food poisoning now.
