I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to thank you for being a loyal reader of Food Management and I'm reaching out to inform you of an important update regarding the brand.
In May, Informa, the parent company of the Food Management brand, acquired Winsight media group. Part of that acquisition was the FoodService Director brand that you likely know well as also serving the noncommercial foodservice community for over 30 years. We were happy to announce earlier this month, that we will be uniting the Food Management brand under the FoodService Director label.
What does this mean?
I am thrilled to announce that I will be heading up the content team for the newly combined brand that will bring you even more of the coverage you have come to expect from both the Food Management and FoodService Director brands.
In addition, we will be expanding and growing the FoodService Director events, including MenuDirections, which I just returned from earlier this month. Watch my highlights video here and read more about MenuDirections in the Q4 Digizine.
What about Food-Management.com and FM eNewsletters?
We have you covered! Any bookmarks or links you have to Food-Management.com will redirect to FoodServiceDirector.com starting in January. For the FM Newsletters, we will be transitioning you to appropriate FoodService Director eNewsletters based on your current Food Management subscriptions. If you wanted to get a jump on FoodService Director eNewsletters, you can sign up here.
We’ll also be continuing a number of the Food Management products into 2024 and beyond, including the quarterly digizine, my podcast and much more.
We appreciate your support and engagement with Food Management over the years. I have been working with FM for over 15 years, but I am energized about the new opportunities to combine resources and launch a new website in 2024! We will continue the commitment to delivering high-quality content and insights within the FoodService Director ecosystem.
