Register for the IETM Aarhus Plenary Meeting 2023 12 - 15.06.2023 | Aarhus, Denmark
We are excited to announce that registrations for the IETM Aarhus Plenary Meeting 2023 are now open! The four day meeting invites you to discuss and digest the ethical and practical role of the performing arts – and of the artist – in the face of climate emergency. We are living on the edge of a global crisis, but its effects are not evenly felt around the world. For some, the impacts are still lurking under the surface, while for others the consequences are felt right now. Be sure to keep an eye on the event page over the next few months, as we will be continuously updating the programme and artistic programme with exciting additions. In the meantime, participants can already read more information about our travel grants, Pitchorama, pre meeting trips, Buddy System and practical info below.
We are proud to introduce our Innovate Cultural Policy Event which will be held online on 25 January from 10:00 - 12:00 CET under the title Which side are you on? Ideas for Reaching Fair Working Conditions in the Arts. The event will introduce ideas from two of our commissioned authors, Katja Praznik and Bojana Kunst, whose work is featured in our new publication, as well as two professionals to introduce innovative new funding schemes and the lessons learned, namely the Irish Basic Income Scheme for the Arts and the pilot programme of Perform Europe, supported by Creative Europe.
Apply for the IETM Campus Polverigi 2023 The IETM Campus 2023 will take place from 10 to 16 May 2023 in the beautiful village of Polverigi (near Ancona) in the Marche region of Italy. This seventh edition of the Campus is organised in collaboration with the longtime IETM member Marche Teatro, Italy.
IETM Campus offers IETM members and performing arts professionals worldwide an opportunity of a week of intensive training on all aspects of international collaboration in our sector. Apply before 6 February 2023, 17:00. Applications are open for both IETM members and non members.
IETM Caravan Kosovo 2023 We are excited to be partnering with Qendra Multimedia and long time IETM member, Teatri ODA for the IETM Kosovo Caravan 2023, taking place 24 to 29 October 2023. Our Caravans are intensive artistic field trips which allow you to experience the performing arts landscape of a specific city, region or country together with a small and international group of participants. We will release more details about this opportunity over the course of the next few months, but IETM members can already apply for a travel grant.
IETM Focus Luxembourg 2023 Following the success of our first Focus meeting in Brussels in April 2022, we are happy to announce that our next Focus meeting will take place in Luxembourg on 27 to 30 November 2023, in collaboration with Kultur | lx - Arts Council Luxembourg. IETM Focus meetings serve as a collective network brainstorm on a specific topic coupled by networking and exploration of the local artistic scene. We will be releasing more details about the Focus over the course of the next few months, but IETM members can already apply for a travel grant.
