You may have heard, yesterday, a tragic event occurred when two civilians were killed by a Hezbollah rocket in a barrage that targeted the Golan Heights. The victims were a married couple, both 46 years old, who leave behind three children. Our hearts go out to their family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. As we mourn this tragic loss, the IDF has taken decisive action in response. Earlier today, the IDF attacked infrastructure of the Syrian army in the Golan Heights. This move contradicted the Disengagement agreement between Israel and Syria (1974). The IDF has made it clear that it considers the Syrian army responsible for all activities within its territory and will not tolerate any attempts to breach the separation agreement. |
