How are things in your part of the world? I hope things are going well for you, and you’re happy in your life.
It’s been a long time since I sent out an email from my business.
I quit emailing about three years ago because I could no longer stomach the fact that while my work was designed to reduce anxiety, all the methods I had been taught for marketing my business were based on fear, scarcity and urgency, and were designed to raise the level of anxiety to get people to buy.
Gag me. I was gagging myself.
So - I backed away from my online presence, and went to work guiding in Zion National Park. Which I LOVE, and am still doing.
Now the coaching and the guiding are weaving together beautifully, in a way I had always hoped to have be true.
In stopping, these three years, it feels like I have been able to reverse the energy in the system. When I quit pushing, and truly surrendered to NEVER doing things in a way that didn’t feel absolutely authentic, the fear, scarcity and doubt that had been squeezing me tighter and tighter went away, and now curiosity, appreciation and wonder have opened things back up.
Which of course feels great - authentic - because it’s what I teach, and who I am.
So, now I’m back in the game in a new way. Still interested in exactly the same things as I have always been, which I would describe as exploring the ins and outs of getting along really well together, by understanding and being able to work with the energy behind things.
My intention these days is to have fun and learn, show up in a good way and share what I’m learning with whoever is interested.
