After spending two months buying gifts for everyone else, I always get the itch to shop for my own winter wardrobe following the holidays. But since I’m still recovering from Christmas spending, I’m looking to keep this haul pretty affordable; fortunately, there are a handful of under-$50 styles at Nordstrom.

For something simple, elegant, and easy to style, I'm eyeing this off-the-shoulder one from Topshop, while BP.’s classic $30 turtleneck is perfect for winter layering. And because this season is all about being cozy, I’m making sure to snag CottonOn’s fleece-lined sweatshirt that shoppers say looks "expensive."

As for pants, I'm loving these comfy, pull-on wide-leg pants from Mango which could easily be dressed up. Speaking of dressed up, I’d be remiss not to add this asymmetrical, body-hugging dress to my cart—it’s so chic and just $50.
