There’s a reason why everyone from Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, and Kylie Jenner to moms in their 40s and 50s (like me, Katie Holmes, and Jennifer Garner) are obsessed with Alo Yoga. The athleisure brand is on-trend, incredibly comfortable, well-made, and oh-so-figure-flattering. Over the years, I have amassed an extensive collection of Alo gear, and I wear some pieces at least once a week.
I have tried every brand and style of workout pants, and IMO, the Alo Yoga Airlift leggings are undoubtedly the best. I have the just-shiny-enough yoga pants in multiple colors, lengths, and leg styles and wear them to the gym, to run errands, and even out to dinner with cowboy boots. The sleek, smoothing fabric sculpts and compresses my tummy, legs, and booty in a way that no other yoga pants have ever been able to do. I also love the surprisingly supportive Airlift Intrigue Bra, which boosts my 36C/D’ish boobs and keeps them secured during workouts.
When Alo launched footwear—specifically exercise sneakers—I was genuinely skeptical. However, the Alo Runner is now my workout shoe of choice. The minimalist athletic shoe hugs, supports, and stabilizes my feet in all the right places, and I’m especially obsessed with the blacked-out color scheme.
Aside from Alo Accolade sweatsuits (my WFH uniform), my other Alo staple is the Alosoft Courtside Tennis Dress. While I can confirm that all the Alo dresses are amazing, this one is next-level. Adjustable spaghetti straps, a supportive shelf bra, and built-in shorts eliminate the need to wear undergarments, which is a selling point for me. I have worn the perfect-fit dress to play tennis and pickle, but I get more use out of it as a general mini, pairing it with Nike Jordans, cowboy boots, flip-flops, cardigans, and jean jackets—basically anything. It’s also a great travel dress, FYI. |
