| Good morning from Dallas. The Advocate's Dallas bureau is still open for business here as we get ready to bring you Thursday's final session of SEC Media Days. We'll hear from coaches and players from Arkansas, Texas A&M, Auburn and Kentucky. We've got a ton of stories for you from all over the map. We'll start with a look back at Paul Skenes' memorable start in Tuesday's All-Star Game over in Arlington, and the promise all-star Juan Soto made to another all-star, Aaron Judge, when it game to facing the former LSU ace. We're going to go up tempo for you with the rest of our stories, so let's snap it and move the chains: LSU was the first school up Monday at SEC Media Days, but by Wednesday Brian Kelly and his staff were back on the recruiting trail in a big way, picking up a huge commitment from the nation' top-ranked cornerback for the 2024-25 recrutiing cycle, DJ Pickett.The Tigers have also been busy on the baseball recruiting front, flipping a now former Texas A&M prospect onto the LSU list.Wednesday was Texas' day here at SEC Media Days. The SEC newcomer has a pretty big impression of itself, but former LSU and Alabama coach Nick Saban says the Longhorns can't expect to run the SEC the way it did the Big 12.Speaking of Saban, it certainly was interesting watching him watch his successor, new Bama coach Kalen Deboer, take the podium on Wednesday.I've been to a lot of SEC Media Days, but I can't recall a one where the Florida Gators made so small a splash. It speaks to the tough situation third-year UF and former UL coach Billy Napier finds himself in.Deboer, Napier and Mississippi State's recommitment to up tempo offense are the subject of my SEC Media Days Three and Out.The new EA Sports college football game is out.
