'I am not the person in that photo': Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam denies he was in the racist image in his medical school yearbook

At a news conference at the Virginia executive mansion, Northam denied being in an "appalling" photo published on his page in the 1984 yearbook of Eastern Virginia Medical School. Northam said Saturday that the racist yearbook photo opens up opportunities for "honest" discussions on race in Virginia. "I am ready to earn your forgiveness," he said.
