| This week at Being Boss we're doing a community challenge to highlight the qualities that make us all boss. We've invited almost 10,000 folks to share on Instagram, in blog posts, newsletters, and more what it means to them to be boss. For me, I am Being Boss because I trust myself. I trust that I will make good decisions that will keep me on my path to success. I trust that if I mess up, I'll figure it out and get myself back on the path. With those two simple beliefs, I give myself permission to try anything. In last week's inaugural Clubhouse online retreat, I challenged the 25 bosses to attack the 2 days with gusto, and to trust themselves. This came after several bosses in the session started second-guessing their tactics, their hopes, or their answers to the questions we were posing. I had to stop them in their tracks and encourage them to trust their gut, trust their intuition, and trust themselves.
Because trusting yourself is truly boss. They took a deep breath and dove in; they dreamed big, made plans, moved forward.
