Lecture Georgia O'Keeffe and "The Intangible Thing" Friday, Oct. 26, 11 AM - Free/limited seating Drawing upon the life and career of the American modernist painter Georgia O'Keeffe, this live-streamed lecture with the NC Museum of Art explores the artist's lifelong expression of her personal vision through the language of color and simplified forms. Lecture from NCMA is held in as a part of their exhibition in Raleigh, The Beyond: Georgia O'Keeffe and Contemporary Art. The CAM Cafe will be open and available for lunch afterward. |

Community Lantern Workshop Saturday, Oct. 27, 11 AM - 2 PM Participants of all ages are invited to join guest artist Abby Spangel Perry for a lantern making workshop. Be inspired by artist Grainger McKoy's large-scale version of "Recovery" and explore the luminous quality of paper with Abby Spangel Perry. All participants are also encouraged to add their touch to our large community collaborative lantern which will be displayed during CAM's Illumination Exhibition opening in December. Free event.
