Dear Webby, What is good about W10? It is S L O W, awkward, doesn't network properly, and just generally is a pain in the South-End. It can't even handle my Logitech M510 mouse, that has worked properly for many years on W7 ! POS Is there ANYTHING good about W10 ? Will W11 be better, or just more pain and suffering? When will we get W11? Michael Dear Michael So far I have not found anything good about W10. It IS awfully slow and awkward. If you put Linux on a W10 iron, it is so fast that you think it is not working, until you get used to lightning fast operation. If you just use it for real work, put Linux on it. It will run Chrome blindingly fast, and of course Open Office and Office Libre, which are made on Linux anyway and just ported to Windoze. The same goes for any gadget that you want. You may have to download and install them, but I can't think of any, that are not available for Linux. As for W11, forget it. Microslop wants to call W10 "the everlasting operating system" and just make Mac style additions for it. Are they trying to chase you to Linux? It sure looks that way! Keep in mind, all the youngsters coming out of college have used Linux in college exclusively, and have been indoctrinated by frantic Socialists, who want to destroy Capitalism. W10 is proof that they are definitely making an impact on Microsoft. Have FUN! DearWebby
