Good Morning, Do! Today is Sunday, May 30 Thank you, Len!!! >from Jason Rios This is what a HERO looks like unlike the whiny pathetic (un)professional athletes that think they are special. Staff Sergeant Timothy S. Williams sprinted 60 meters under fire through open terrain to rescue his team leader after an AK-47 round shattered the Marines femur and sent him tumbling into a canal full of water. SSgt Williams scooped him up, stabilized his leg, then carried the Marine 3 football fields to a medevac chopper. He took charge of the patrol and led the force two miles over mountainous terrain toward friendly forces, killing Taliban the whole way. For his courage, he was awarded the Silver Star. ___________________________________________________ If you can spare a coin, PLEASE hit PayPal with it! ___________________________________________________ 2 Chicago gangsters charged after they shot a 2 year old girl, believing she belonged to the rival Kings gang. ___________________________________________________ Today, May 30 in 1967 The state of Biafra seceded from Nigeria and Civil war erupted. ____________________________________________________ It is not worth an intelligent man's time to be in the majority. By definition, there are already enough people to do that. --- G. H. Hardy (1877 - 1947) ____________________________________________________ A nursery school teacher was delivering a station wagon full of kids home one day when a fire truck zoomed past. Sitting in the front seat of the fire truck was a Dalmatian dog. The children fell to discussing the dog's duties. "They use him to keep crowds back," said one youngster. "No," said another, "he's just for good luck." Then a third child brought the argument to a close... "They use the dog," she said firmly, "to find the fire hydrant." ____________________________________________________ The beautiful red-shanked duoc (Pygathrix nemaeus) is one of the most colorful species of monkey in the world, and is found in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. "I'm busy," he said. "I'll do the next one." The next time came around and she asked again. The husband looked puzzled. "Oh! I didn't mean the next diaper," he said. "I meant the next baby!" ____________________________________________________ An INTERNATIONAL BONEHEAD AWARD has been earned by Rodolfo Irigoyen, David Contreras, members of the Two-Six gang, Chicago, Illinois, USA 2 Chicago gangsters charged after they shot a 2 year old girl, believing she belonged to the rival Kings gang. Chicago police have arrested and charged two suspects in a shooting of a 2-year-old girl in Little Village. David Contreras, 18 and Rodolfo Irigoyen, 21, are both facing charges in connection to the shooting. The two were arrested Wednesday. Contreras faces four felony counts of attempted murder, felony aggravated battery and discharge of a firearm and felony aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. Irigoyen was charged with felony aggravated battery and discharge of a firearm. Just before 7 p.m. last Friday, Chicago police responded to the 2800 block of West 26th Street on the report of a shooting. They said a 2-year-old girl was traveling inside a vehicle when another car drove up and fired shots. The girl suffered a gunshot wound to the body and someone transported the child to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition. She was then transported to Stroger Hospital. According to Assistant States Attorney James Murphy, a couple was driving with their two young children a 2-year-old girl and her 9-month-old sister in a 2017 Buick Encore heading northbound on South California Avenue at around 6:08 p.m. Murphy said the couple did not realize they were being followed by a Honda Accord driven by Irigoyen, with another uncharged male defendant and Contreras riding in passenger seats. Each of those men are members of the Two-Six gang, according to Murphy, and they believed the Encore was carrying members of the rival Latin Kings gang. In interviews with investigators, both Irigoyen and Contreras allegedly admitted their involvement in the shooting. Irigoyen said the third uncharged defendant directed him where to drive, told him which vehicle had a king in it and ordered Contreras to shoot, shoot, shoot as they pulled up next to the Encore, according to Murphy.

"How long will it take to pull my tooth?" The patient asked the dentist. "Only two seconds" "How much will it cost?" "Fifty dollars." "For only two seconds of work?" "Well," The dentist answered coolly, "I can pull it very, very slowly and make it last an hour if you prefer." ___________________________________________ A man will pay $2 for a $1 item he needs. When police ran after them, one threw away his bright yellow jacket, with his cell phone in it. Police picked it up and waited. Sure enough, shortly afterward one of the boneheads called, looking for his buddy. Since the phone had caller ID, that guy was quickly arrested near the store from where he had called. An hour later the guy who had thrown his jacket away called his phone. Police told him they had found it and if he wanted it he could come to the police station. He did.
