Good Morning, Do! Today is Sunday, October 11 ___________________________________________________ International Bonehead Award Voyeur Filmed Naked Women In Tanning Bed _____________________________________________________ Today, October 11 in 1939 U.S. President Roosevelt was presented with a letter from Albert Einstein that urged him to develop the U.S. atomic bomb program rapidly. _____________________________________________________ The mind of a bigot is like the pupil of the eye. The more light you shine on it, the more it will contract. --- Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. (1841 - 1935) "The trick is to stop thinking of it as 'your' money." --- An unidentified Tax Auditor _____________________________________________________ Negotiations between union members and their employer were at an impasse. The union denied that their workers were flagrantly abusing their contract's sick-leave provisions. One morning at the bargaining table, the company's chief negotiator held aloft the morning edition of the newspaper, "This man," he announced, "Called in Sick yesterday!" There on the sports page, was a photo of the supposedly ill employee, who had just won a local golf tournament with an excellent score. The silence in the room was broken by a union negotiator. "Wow," he said. "Think of what kind of score he could have had if he hadn't been sick!" _____________________________________________________ Sakura,Japan Elyk Naiugnarac ___________________________________________________ Ma and Pa are sitting on the porch swing one evening enjoying the warm breeze and the night sounds. Suddenly, for no reason at all, Ma hauls off and slaps Pa up side the head so hard he falls off the swing. Dazed, Pa gets up and asks, "What the hell was that for?" To which Ma replies, "That's for 20 years of bad sex!" Pa says nothing and gets back on the swing. About 5 minutes of silence later, he hauls off and slaps Ma up side the head equally hard. Ma gets up dazed and asks, "What was that for?" To which Pa replies, "That's for knowing the difference!" ___________________________________________________ An INTERNATIONAL BONEHEAD AWARD has been earned by Jonathan Willink, 39, Monroe, Louisiana, USA Voyeur Filmed Naked Women In Tanning Bed A Louisiana man who claimed that he always wondered what it would be like to be in the room while a woman was in a tanning bed was arrested yesterday on video voyeurism charges for allegedly using a tiny camera to film naked women tanning at a local health club. Jonathan Willink, 39, was nabbed yesterday on four misdemeanor counts for surreptitiously filming a quartet of women at Anytime Fitness in Monroe. Willink, pictured in the mug shot at right, is being held in the Ouachita County jail in lieu of $20,000 bond. Police learned of the hidden camera filming when an employee of a computer firm contacted them after Willink brought in his laptop for repairs. The worker reported discovering several videos of women who were naked and lying in a tanning bed. Additionally, as reported in a probable cause affidavit, in some of the videos, Willinks face is even seen as he adjust the camera. Confronted yesterday at his home, Willink told cops that, he had recently obtained a small contained video recorder, which he hid on four separate occasions in a tanning bed room at Anytime Fitness, where he is a member. The resulting videos recorded the women as they undress and enter the tanning bed. The women are then seen as they exit the tanning bed and redress. According to cops, Willink stated that he placed the hidden camera there because he had always wondered what it would be like to be in the tanning room while a woman was lying in the tanning bed. During a search yesterday of Willinks Carter Lane home, cops recovered the camera which Willink used to film the female victims. Investigators also recovered other items which are going to be reviewed further, police added. DearWebby's Tech Support Pits From: Andrea RE: Networking W10 Dear Webby, Can a W10 be networked to a net of six W7 machines? So far I have not been able to do that. Andrea Dear Andrea W7 and before was easy to network, as you have experienced. W10, unfortunately, is brain damaged. Some networking experts supposedly have been able to network a W10 to a W7 network, briefly. But apparently it does not stay networked. Your best bet would be to buy a refurb W7. It will connect in half a minute and stay networked, the same as all your existing W7 machines. Your W10 does not have anything useful, that a W7 machine lacks, or that you would miss if you replace it with a refurb W7. If all of your machines were on W10, then supposedly networking could sorta work. Not smoothly like on a W7 network, where the other machines act like extra hard drives, but more like using a virtual (fake) common machine that all networked W10 machines have access to. You drag files to that fake machine, and the other machines can copy them from there. Not smoothly at all, and nobody likes it. Have FUN! DearWebby

As I fidgeted in front of the mirror one evening before a date, I remarked, "I'm fat." "No, you're not," she scolded. "My hair is awful." "It's lovely." "I've never looked worse," I whined. "Yes, you have," she replied. ____________________________________________ A wise schoolteacher sends this note to all parents on the first day of school: "If you promise not to believe everything your child says happens at school, I'll promise not to believe everything he says happens at home. ____________________________________________ Thought those of you who are classified as "Seniors" and those who will be soon, would be interested in this new exercise program. Here is a little secret for building arm and shoulder muscles. Three days a week works well. Begin by standing outside behind the house, and with a 5 lb. potato sack in each hand, extend your arms straight out to your sides as high as you can. This will become higher with time. Hold them there for as long as you can. After a few weeks, move up to 10 lb. potato sacks, and finally get to where you can lift a 100 lb. potato sack in each hand and hold your arms straight for more than a full minute. Next....start putting a few potatoes in the sacks, but be careful not to overdo it. ____________________________________________ Ophelia Dingbatter's NewsNo sermon and not suitable for church, just jokes and fun for grownups.
