Michael Harrell, 54, entered a US Bank branch in Cleveland on Monday and passed the not-so-discreet note, the FBI said. When the teller took the note, and looked at it and looked at the other side, she saw his name, he had used a note that he had used earlier at the [Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles] and it had his name on it, FBI Special Agent Vicki Anderson told news station WIVB. The teller reportedly complied with his demand and handed Harrell $206 before calling the authorities. She actually even referred to him as Michael. Gave him the money and called him Michael and then notified law enforcement, Anderson said. Harrell, who was a frequent customer, has been arrested in the robbery, DearWebby's Tech Support Pits From: Renate Re: Printng Envelopes Dear Webby, You sound like you looked up about printing envelopes, but don't really believe in that. Well, I don't either. What's the story? Renate Dear Renate You are 100% right. My first Laser printer was a Brother. That was in the late 80's. Printing envelopes destroyed it. I have not printed envelopes since then. Avery or Store Brand or No-Name labels are cheap. Their cost is negligible compared to the cost of a decent printer. Even if you have a cheap $30 ink squirter, it probably won't last. Only the ancient dot matric printers handle envelopes OK. That is why you see the envelopes from the electrical company or the phone company printed with the tiny dots, just like your printers did in the old days, before ink squirters and lasers. Dot matrix printers are getting very scarce and expensive. I find getting a few packs of labels is a better solution. Open Office has envelope printing in it, that lets you select the brand and type of label, and then even guides you through importing your database. You can even approach it from the opposite side and let Avery handle the database import and printing. Either way, for me labels are the answer. Have FUN! If you come to this house this afternoon it will be empty." Predictably he didn't remember until he found the house vacated that afternoon. He mumbled to himself, "And where was it we were moving to?" He went out in front of the house and asked a little girl, "Did you see a moving van here today, little girl?" "Yes," she replied. "Would you know which way it went?" She looked up at him and said, "Yes, Daddy, I'll show you." ___________________________________________________ Daily tip from Thriftyfun.com Thriftyfun.com Cleaning Sap Off Your Hands When handling evergreens or pine cones, you can remove the sticky sap from your hands by scrubbing it with a paste made of baking soda and water. thriftyfun.Com If you are outside, you can do the same as the loggers do: Spray the hands lightly with OFF mosquito dope, and wipe them on your jeans. I have used that trick thousands of times. It always worked. If you don't like OFF, a quick spray of WD40 and wipe your hands on your jeans or a rag also works. Especially when limbing and tossing branches all day, it is important to keep sap off your hands to avoid blisters due to the sticky spot traction caused by sap spots. Have FUN! On the day he was to return, I thought it would be fun if he picked me up at work and we could go out to dinner. I left a note on our dining-room table with my new number and this message: "For a good time, call 555-1234." When my husband failed to show up, I took the bus home. "Where were you?" I asked. "Didn't you get my note?" "Oh," he replied with a sheepish grin, "I wasn't sure who wrote it." ___________________________________________________ One night a teenage girl brought her new boyfriend home to meet her parents, and they were appalled by his appearance: leather jacket, motorcycle boots, tattoos and pierced nose. Later, the parents pulled their daughter aside and confessed their concern. "Dear," said the mother diplomatically, "he doesn't seem very nice." "Oh please, Mom," replied the daughter, "if he wasn't nice, why would he be doing 500 hours of community service?" ___________________________________________________ "My doll!
