Hello, Monday lunchtime is when we round-up the main headlines from the weekend. Sunday saw a packed Flag Market in Preston witness the Lancashire proclamation of King Charles III. People travelled from miles around to witness the historic event - dating back more than 500 years - performed with due pomp and ceremony on the steps of the Harris Museum. Elsewhere, there were major issues on the M6 in Lancashire on Saturday and Sunday. A planned closure southbound between junctions 33, Lancaster, and 32, Broughton, caused chaos and huge tailbacks. It had been advertised in advance, but some motorists reported being stuck for up to 12 hours. Finally, a family paid an emotional tribute to a 19-year-old killed in a car crash at the start of the month. Alex Tyson was a huge PNE fan with tributes coming from Mark Lawrenson, supporters’ groups and more. Our thoughts are with his family.
