Good morning, Marketer, and live events are almost back That’s how it feels anyway after a few days spent at Inbound in Boston. Not as crowded as 2019, but there were real people there, and there were more handshakes and hugs than masks as people greeted old friends and colleagues in person, in many cases for the first time in years. There were reminders of some of the risks of live events too. After a sweltering summer, the heavens opened and the temperature dropped for the first day — which HubSpot had decided to mark with an outdoor party. Mud and ponchos (and a nice set by Trombone Shorty). Also the opportunity to connect by touching badges together and pressing a button. Which worked most of the time. Kim Davis, Editorial Director |
