A Message From the Editor

Good morning. We're covering the fallout from McKinsey's $122 million settlement of a South African bribery investigation which has sparked sharp criticism from anti-corruption leaders who want executives involved in kickbacks to face criminal trials. We're also looking at the decision by HSF leadership to remove the Australian partner who sent "deeply offensive" tweets directed at a Jewish partner at a different firm. And we're following news that Eversheds Sutherland Dublin's lawyers and staff are in talks with Irish firm William Fry as they consider leaving Eversheds to join the large Irish firm.
