Take part in the survey | The TrustMark App was developed in collaboration with HSE, launched in Autumn 2022, and has recently had new content added. The App is aimed at helping homeowners to better understand what they need to know and do when having building work done on their home, to make sure that everything is in place to keep people and property safe while works are ongoing. Content already on the App includes information on energy efficiency measures insulation, solar panels, heat pumps and double glazing; general repair and maintenance; and work when changing or replacing kitchens and bathrooms. New content added includes information on loft conversions, garden buildings, living spaces and garages. HSE has a duty to notify the Secretary of State about unsafe or non-compliant products and of the measures taken and communicated by an economic operator. Products that present a serious or high risk to the health and safety of the user, and products that have been recalled, are published on GOV.UK.
