That survey also indicated that 63% of respondents say businesses must be "aggressive and visible in addressing the big challenges facing society today," writes Brinegar, who is part of Duke University's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Initiative and past McKinney chairman.

Bill would classify college athletes as employees

Chris Murphy, D-Conn., is leading the introduction of a bill in the Senate that would change the National Labor Relations Act to enable college athletes receiving scholarships to be considered as employees instead of students and subsequently be able to collectively bargain.
