Scottish government spend thousands on popular footballing simulation game campaign

It's one of the most popular games of all time, and this financial year the Scottish government spent almost £20,000 as part of their Safer Young Driver campaign on Football Manager after research pointed them in the direction of the popular game.

A FOI request revealed that £18,642 had been spent on ads in Football Manager 2019 and 2020.
