Consider that more than two-thirds of the local media members who participated in our annual media survey predicted the team to have a losing record this season. That's a far cry from the rosy outlook of past years and perhaps an indicator of things to come. Long shotsLocal reporters aren't the only ones predicting a rough year for the Saints. Bookmakers in Vegas also are dubious of the team's prospects. Gabe Henderson looks at the long odds the Saints face this season. Seven incumbents were re-elected from a year ago, but there was one new captain elected for the first time in his career.
