Quick tip of the dayHere’s a quick security tip to protect you from unsecured websites that put you and your computer at risk. When shopping online, you know to look for web addresses that start with “https://”. This ensures the website is transferring data over a secure encrypted connection. You’ll also see a lock icon in your browser’s address bar. This encryption guards against hijacking and malicious hacking attempts, but not every site has made the switch. Try the free HTTPS Everywhere browser extension. It rewrites your web requests as secure, even if the website you visit isn’t adequately encrypted. 🛠 It’s easy to install. Head to Komando.com for direct download links for Chrome, Firefox and Opera. |

AND FINALLY ...If you’ve never seen a volcanic eruption, one photographer is here to show you what you’re missing. New drone footage zooms over the explosive lava, giving you a close view of the Fagradalsfjall volcano near Iceland's capital, Reykjavik. The flight was a huge risk for drone pilot Bjorn Steinbek; the lava could have burnt or damaged his drone. But he took the chance, which means we see the amazing flight of a camera flying over lava as it shoots and spills around the rocky peak. Luckily, the drone survived! Click here to see the incredible moment an Icelandic volcano erupted. |
