Savage was in another home from which we adopted one of her puppies. We noticed when we chose our puppy that being the Momma dog, she was not in the best shape or condition. Having just given birth to 6 puppies she needed a lot of nutrients and attention which she was not getting from that owner.

Use Yoga Mat to Keep Dog From Slipping in Bath

To help keep a dog secure during a bath, place a yoga mat in the tub before bathing the dog. This will provide a non-slip surface that will hold the dog in place during the bath.

Walk Your Dog Every Day

Take your pets on a walk every day, even if it is just around the block. Not only will you benefit from the exercise, your pet will too.

Soothing Tip for Teething Puppies

Put peanut butter in a washcloth, wrap it up, and tie the ends. Put it under the tap until damp and freeze it. Your dog will love it, and it will soothe his pain. This can be done with broth too.

Faster And Less Painful Dog Nail Clipping

My dog is a large breed with very large and tough nails. This was a most unpleasant task until I discovered a Dremel tool! I used the larger grade sanding wheel for my dogs nail size and thickness.

My Dog Died Suddenly

My 5 year old wolf Shepherd mix died tonight. She was fine when I went to work at 1 yesterday. When I got home 10 hours later she was bleeding from the mouth. She died before I could get her in the car. She was healthy and had no health issues. The vet says he has no idea what caused it without an autopsy, which is expensive. She was an outside dog who was in a confined yard.
