Don’t try this at home: Driver apprehended for hauling mistake When you have outdoor toys like snowmobiles, you’re supposed to tow them behind your car to protect the machine and other drivers. But one motorist in Wisconsin must not have thought his travel plans through when he decided to take a drive with a snowmobile strapped sideways to the roof of his car. A state trooper pulled the driver over to ask about the unusual haul only to discover that he wasn’t even wearing a seatbelt. We can only imagine how much of a whopper that traffic ticket must have been. Thank goodness nobody was hurt. There’s a right and a wrong way to haul almost anything.
