The platform also improved its search functionality by delivering news, insights and trend information around a topic.

More than a dozen former employees of the NFL's Las Vegas Raiders spoke to The New York Times about the team's dysfunctional work environment, which has seen six top executives leave or be fired since 2020 amid operational failures affecting working conditions. "The Raiders kind of operate back in the Stone Age," said former human resources executive Nicole Adams. "If anyone complained, they were let go."

Negotiating for a higher salary or better perks when offered a job can pay off, according to Fidelity, which found that 85% of Americans who negotiated on their offer package got at least some of what they wanted. Keys to successful negotiations include confidence and the ability to frame the counteroffer in the proper manner.

Lake Tahoe has been the subject of folklore for years, so it's not a surprise that a major effort to clean it up yielded questions about whether or not divers would discover the remains of gangsters who fraternized there. The divers didn't find any notable dead bodies, but they did find 25,000 pounds of trash. For a body of water with a reputation for its pristine appearance, it may be jarring to learn how much litter was in there. Ironically, some of the items they found were "No Littering" signs.
