Luffa Pot Scrubber

A slice of luffa as a pot scrubberRather then using antiquated steel wool pads that rust and stick your fingers, I cut a slice of a new luffa sponge to use for a pot scrubber! It works great and doesn't shred apart! Luffa is also anti bacterial. A simple solution!

Tomato Sauce on string beans on dinner plateIf you garden, or can get tomatoes cheaply, this is a way to use them and enjoy them when winter comes. I froze my tomatoes to make them easier to skin. If you use fresh tomatoes, plunge them in boiling water and then in ice water to skin them.

When we were younger, we had a table out front with a plywood on top. We had cut a hole in it so our teenage son could put his head through. We put black and white makeup on his face and I fashioned a "silver platter" around his neck, out of foil.
