We won't wish you a happy Thursday today because we know that — for Mets fans, at least — it's a miserable one, thanks to Edwin Díaz's bad injury during the World Baseball Classic last night. Even outside of baseball, it's rough out there: artificial intelligence is growing creepily effective, acing nearly every higher-learning exam we put in front of it. The trusty labrador retriever is no longer America's favorite dog, dropping to second place for the first time in decades. It's enough to inspire us to get away from it all and book a "thirst trip."
