HOBOKEN, NJ: The Propelify Innovation Festival, which celebrates innovation and entrepreneurship, is back this year with both virtual and in-person attendance options. It will be held at Maxwell Place Park on Oct. 6, and proof of vaccination is required. There are four main subjects being highlighted: clean technology and sustainability; smart cities and IoT; health technology and life sciences; and diversity, inclusion and social justice. LAS VEGAS: Live Nation Las Vegas will host a Mexican Independence Weekend celebration along the Las Vegas Strip from Sept. 10-16. Seven of Latin music’s biggest stars will be performing live at various resorts, including Marco Antonio Sols, Grupo Firme, Alejandro Fernndez and BANDA MS. During the iHeartRadio Music Festival, taking place at AREA15 on Sept. 18, Cut and Taste and its sister company, Events With a Twist, will deliver a VIP food and beverage experience at the daytime stage. In addition to live performances from emerging artists, the daytime stage area will feature fan zones and interactive experiences. NEW ORLEANS: The Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New Orleans is officially open. The new hotel boasts 341 rooms and suites and is located on the Mississippi Waterfront, steps from the city's famous French Quarter. The property has 29,000 square feet of event space, as well as three new dining experiences that highlight southern cuisine. SAN DIEGO: John Rovie has been named director of sales and marketing at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina, a waterfront resort in the heart of the harbor district. Rovie has previously worked at Monarch Beach Resort in Orange County, The Broadmoor in Colorado, the Arizona Biltmore and other luxury hotels around the country.
