One-vote win: U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson, a Louisiana Republican, scored a last-minute victory Tuesday by getting President Donald Trump’s legislative agenda passed by a single vote. Mark Ballard explains how he did it and what comes next. Impact on Medicaid: Congressional Republicans insist this isn't the case, but many analyses suggest it will be difficult to pay for Trump's legislative priorities without Medicaid taking a major hit.
