So far, Baton Rouge Green has inventoried more than 63,000 trees in public spaces, and by far one variety stands out. It's the first week of August and all is quiet in the tropics. That's no reason to let our guard down, though. Abortions are again illegal in Louisiana. Since a U.S. Supreme Court decision in June returning legality of abortions back to the states, Louisiana's status has been off-again, on-again several times. For now, it's on again. |
