Large employers commit to offering health care benefits, surveys say Large employers remain committed to offering health insurance coverage for their employees, according to two recent surveys. The climate of low unemployment combined with uncertainty about the Affordable Care Act's future leads 65% of employers to say they are "very confident" that they will continue to offer coverage 10 years from now, up from 25% in 2014 when many big employers contemplated shifting their employees to the Affordable Care Act marketplaces.
