House January 6th Committee to vote to hold Steve Bannon in contempt of Congress

The January 6th Committee is set to vote tonight on holding Steve Bannon, Donald Trump's former chief strategist, in contempt of Congress after he refused to comply with a subpoena.

It's just the latest chapter in Trump's attempt to cover up his and his closest Republican confidantes' roles in the attack on the Capitol on January 6th, and the failed attempt to overturn the outcome of the 2020 election.

As this investigation moves forward, and as more and more Republican candidates in Oregon and across the country proudly parrot Trump's lies about the 2020 election, it is critical that we defend our democracy and make sure the American people know what happened on January 6th.
