| Today's Quote: "Unnecessary possessions are unnecessary burdens." Peace Pilgrim

| Today's Entertainment: Watch as 13 year old Angelina Jordan from Norway sings a stunning version of Bohemian Rhapsody on America's Got Talent. It's a haunting, smokey, jazz rendition of this classic song. I've watched it five times already. Watch performance.

| From Desperation To Hope: A Love Filled Story
“…it felt like we were in the presence of our Creator.”
"As the session was ending something was telling me from within, don´t let her pay. Instead pay her what she was to pay me. This will help her to go through the day, but above all, will transmit the message that hope could have a place in her heart. I gave her the money she should pay me for the session." Sonia Novinsky
Intro from Gary: Sonia Novinsky, an EFT practitioner for many years and the Director of The Gary Craig Official EFT Training Center in Brazil (Portuguese language), shares this love-filled story where desperation turns to hope. Read it many times. It contains one of our richest messages.
Sonia's story: Vera was a new EFT client. She arrived in a very excited state and started crying immediately. She asked if I could charge the minimum and, of course, I agreed.
In the next two hours I learned of her abusive childhood, her amputated leg from cancer and the worthless feelings she had about herself. My empathy towards her grew because she seemed to me sincere when she said: "I lost everything, today I didn't eat, I don´t have a place to sleep tonight, and I came here even without any hope..." | Can We Create Comfort For Someone With Mental Illness?
Question: Could you use the Unseen Therapist to heal a young woman that is diagnosed with depersonalization derealization disorder and other mental illnesses?
Answer: To me, mental illnesses, regardless of their various labels, have one or more causes. And included among these likely causes are emotional traumas to the system that motivate the person to develop protective mechanisms. These, in turn, help insulate him or her from a traumatic world. Multiple Personality Disorder (aka Dissociative Identity Disorder) is but one example. Depersonalization Derealization Disorder is another.
Given this possibility... Read more

| What To Do About My Anxiety And Pains?
Question: I am an Indonesian in my late forties and have been having anxiety disorder for more than ten years. Sometimes it becomes worse and develops iinto OCD. I have had several therapies including EFT tapping sessions. I don't take much medication such as antidepressant or anxiety pills, because they usually cause side-effects like diarrhea and more serious anxiety.
Since I came to the US a month ago, I got pain in the back, left arm, and chest.
I took EFT level 1,2,3 and even practitioner courses in Indonesia. Now I am trying to deal with the pain and anxiety about it with EFT tapping.
Answer: Freedom is available.
Like you, many people have developed a string of anxiety-related issues, complete with physical pains and discomforts. On infrequent occasions, I have found the cause to be an allergic or sensitivity type reaction. I've seen cases where certain fabrics in one's clothes or a particular brand of underarm deodorant actually caused the anxiety and pains. Once we removed the offending substances, the problems disappeared. Finding such possible causes requires advanced training and is beyond the scope of this letter.
In most cases, however, these symptoms come from... Read more

| On Guilt And Being A Disappointment
Tertia, one of our OEFT Course Members, allowed me to share this personal correspondence. Like so many, she easily falls into the "I feel guilty" and "I'm a disappointment" traps. Relief is available, of course, and this part of her journey should prove helpful to you.
From Tertia's correspondence: "I would like to know if there was maybe another (better) way to have handled it when I was so intense and unable to connect to my loving moment and the Unseen Therapist."
