In a story that could only take place in the Sunshine State, traffic became snarled on a major freeway when more than 1,000 grapefruits spilled from the back of a truck. The fruits were in the process of being shipped and, thanks to a freak accident, were launched onto the roadway and into the path of oncoming drivers. The truck pulled to the side of the road and called for assistance, but the damage had already been done. Traffic was stalled due to so much spilled fruit. It took more than 3 hours of sweeping to completely clear the freeway. Thankfully, no one was hurt; but much like a grapefruit, it was a bitter morning commute.

Maybe it would be easier to just get fruit from this tree.
