| Between 2016 and March 2025, we undertook a reform programme which modernised the system and digitised multiple services. It transformed the experience of using and administering many services across our courts and tribunals. In our latest video, our staff share real stories about how court and tribunal reform is making a difference for people across England and Wales. From providing vital support to those in crisis to making legal processes faster and more accessible, these are the human stories behind the reforms.  |

| Weâve recently published a new guidance page on GOV.UK, as the Reform Programme formally concludes covering our digital transformation and how we've made justice more accessible. The page links to case studies and other materials covering all jurisdictions which demonstrate how modernised services have improved outcomes for court users, court staff and the environment. |

| Weâve also published a new blog from Nick Goodwin, HMCTS Chief Executive, reflecting on the achievements of the Reform Programme, as well as the lessons weâve learned. Nick discusses the benefits of the programme for users and outlines plans for continuing to modernise courts and tribunals. He acknowledges the role partners across the justice system have played and thanks them for being a part of the transformation process. |

| Changes are being introduced to selected court and tribunal fees, subject to parliamentary approval. The changes will come into force from Tuesday 8 April 2025 for applications received by courts or tribunals on or after that date, and will see 171 fees increased and 24 reduced. |

| On Thursday 17 April, from 10am to 3pm, youâll have the opportunity to dive into the world of justice at our open day in Norwich. Youâll be able to go behind the scenes, speak to our justice partners, watch a mock trial, meet a sniffer dog, tour the court cells and more. |
