Her woman's hosiery company has revolutionized the fashion industry (and women's wardrobes she tells me). It's also valued at over a billion dollars. But Sara didn't make her first pair of Spanx because she was a skilled seamstress. No - she was a door to door fax machine saleswoman in Florida. When I asked her how she got the guts to do all this she told me she didn't know any better - she literally had no idea what she was getting into.
