Make a skillet cobbler with whatever fruit you have on hand--even apples or pears. Skillet cobblers are different. You put the batter in the pan, the filling on top of the batter, and bake it. The cake rises and the filling sinks through the batter. And instead of adding sugar to sweeten the fruit, try jams, syrups--even caramel. | | | |
