By Rafael Belchior This is my first major study (source), about Blockchain Interoperability, which started in December 2019 and was last updated today. We analysed 330+ documents and obtained feedback from 30 people, to categorize the most relevant blockchain interoperability projects. We came up with three categories: Cryptocurrency-directed interoperability approaches, Blockchain Engines, and Blockchain Connectors. For example, Bitcoin only processes 6 to 7 TPS, and Ethereum currently processes roughly 15 TPS, while Alipay — a centralized payment system — was able to deliver 200,000+ TPS on November 11, 2017. Reflecting upon the same and the numerous congratulatory messages that came streaming in this past week made me think about the struggle of fundraising, and why it is indeed a great milestone for entrepreneurs. As much as the capital we have raised ($350k) for our startup, MarketForce 360, is very 'small' - compared to some counterparts across the globe - I have come to learn that less than 0.5% of startups globally get funded by either angel investors or VC's (venture capitalists). In Africa, the statistics are worse!Read the full story By Rishabh Before Loki.ai became a financially sustainable venture, I failed with 5 other startups over 5 years. Yet again, another Black man was murdered by those hired to protects us. Four policemen pinned George to the ground after being called by a store clerk about disorderly conduct. An officer, by the name of Derek Chauvin, kneeled into George’s neck with extreme pressure, digging it into the ground to the point that he struggled to breath. As George was suffocating, he stated that he could not breath multiple times, but Chauvin did not let up. The other officers just stood by allowing it to happen, which makes them just as guilty. George died later that day. It took days just for Chauvin to even be arrested. He’s now been charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.
