Happy Friday! In the wake of a NY Times story about sales of location data, location intelligence firm HEROW has released a survey report about “the other side of mobile geolocation.” That “other side” involves using location data to improve user experience, not to make the user a target of third-party ads and other tracking. In general, the report finds that users are fine with sharing their location if they know why, and if they have control. We also have three actionable tactics to boost your Amazon sales today. Pratik Dholakiya, founder of digital marketing and SEO agency, The 20 Media, highlights uploading high quality images, signing up for Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) and sharing customer reviews, as key tactics for maximizing sales on the ecommerce platform. Also ICYMI: Attentive, the personalized mobile messaging SaaS platform for brands and organizations, announced that it has raised a $70 million Series C investment. mParticle, the Customer Data Platform (CDP) of choice for multi-channel consumer brands, announced significant product enhancements to its Data Master product to help increase data trust and quality throughout the pipeline, and across teams. AudioGO, the new self-serve audio ad buying service from AdsWizz, announced new partners that will expand its footprint and empower more small businesses and agencies to run audio ads. Dailymotion, a Vivendi-owned video platform, and White Ops, the global leader in sophisticated bot mitigation, announced an enhanced partnership that will protect Dailymotion’s programmatic advertising on its global video platform from sophisticated invalid traffic (SIVT). Five of the US’ largest advertising trade associations urged California Attorney General Xavier Becerra to delay his office’s enforcement of the CCPA, so thousands of covered companies have the time necessary to review and implement the final regulations effectively, once they are released by his office. Google announced that Google Cloud will be the cloud technology provider for Accenture’s INTIENT life sciences industry platform. |
