INDUSTRY NEWS DALLAS: Omni Hotels & Resorts announced the appointment of Vince Parrotta in a newly created position for the company, chief operating officer. With over 40 years of operations experience, Parrotta brings a wealth of expertise from his previous role as president of hotel operations, Americas at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. This strategic move comes as Omni embarks on its first brand refresh in over a decade, aiming to provide elevated guest experiences amid significant growth to its portfolio. Parrotta will oversee hotel operations as well as related brand and guest experience roles. LAS VEGAS: Fontainebleau Las Vegas, the highly anticipated new property opening in December 2023, unveiled the award-winning collection of designers who are bringing the property to life on the Las Vegas Strip. NEW YORK: Streaming service Peacock has unveiled Welcome to The Continental: The Hotel Bar Experience, a John Wick immersive pop-up experience at 82 Beaver St. in the Financial District. The experience will transport attendees inside The Continental: From the World of John Wick, the prequel series from Lionsgate Television that explores the origins behind the iconic hotel-for-assassins centerpiece of the John Wick universe in 1970s Manhattan. Tickets are required to enter. Opening dates run through Oct. 8.
