A school board shuffle is on the way

Three East Baton Rouge school members seeking re-election were shown the door, and a member who didn't want to be re-elected led the way in her race. The school board races had some odd results. A fourth member won by fewer than two dozen votes. Charles Lussier wraps up what happened.

Legislators sent eight proposed constitutional amendments to voters this year. Only three passed. One of the five measures rejected targeted slavery, but was written in a way that even the proposal's sponsor asked people to vote against it.
